This year is quite hectic as it includes my post-University travels. I was away for 5 consecutive months and I visited Thailand, Laos, Myanmar (only for 10 minutes), Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Nepal and New Zealand. It was really a great experience.

I spent my birthday walking around Durham taking pictures with my new camera, an excellent way to spend the day I think.
Hatfield Hockey Match

One weekend we decided to go down to Maiden Castle and watch Sam play hockey for Hatfield College. It was a good match, with a predictable victory against Castle. :)

My Dad and I decided to do a brief walk on the Moors above Derwent, I took my camera to try out my new lens in landscape photography. Here are a few of the shots. The lens is a Sigma DG Macro 28-300mm f3.5-6.3.
Yearbook Photoshoot

After exams and towards the end of the year the only thing left to do was sort through our photos and find a photo of ourselves which we wanted in the yearbook. Obviously no decent photos were found so we went for an impromptu photo-shoot and blitzed them all.

Well, my time at University was coming to a close so I decided to go out and make sure that I'd got all the classic touristy shots of Durham before I left for good.

I had to get my Indian Visa for my upcoming travels and as the timing was so close I couldn't send it off in the post. So, I had to go to the nearest Indian Consulate which turned out to be in Edinburgh. Sam, Liz and myself decided to make a day of it, :)

So, here we are, the first photo album from my World Tour of 2007. I spent a month in Thailand starting from Phuket in the very south and finishing in Chang Rai in the very north - enjoy!

Right, my favourite South-East Asian country: Laos. This was the third visit for me but no less because of it. There are quite a few photos in this album, it's quite big: I'm sorry.

Cambodia was a short stop so there are only photos from Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Most of the Siem Reap photos are of Angkor.

Right, the pièce de résistance of my World Tour, Nepal - the Himalayas. There are a fair few photos in this album but I personally think they are very much worth it.

I was only here for a day and a half so there are hardly any photos. New Zealand served as a nice place to break myself back into Western society, it was quite surreal to be honest.
