Panoramas from New Zealand in 2007

Welcome to my panoramas from New Zealand in 2007. Each pano is interactive and all are zoom-able, regardless of whether it is Flash or Java. However, it's the Java ones which rotate. Have a gander at them, there is no rush. Some are about 1MB and so may take a while to download depending on your connection speed. I hope it's worth it though!

Just the one panorama from Auckland atop 'One Tree Hill' looking out over the entrire area. To be fair, I was only here for a day or so.

One Tree Hill, Auckland

This was taken atop 'One Tree Hill' in the suburbs of Auckland. 'Twas a bit blustery up here and one could see the swells coming in off the sea, good views none-the-less. This panorama requires the Java plugin.

Macro Photography Basics

A good article describing, in detail, many aspects of Macro photography. This is particularly useful as the author describes the relationship between the focal length and the minimum focusing distance of lenses which can produce photos with similar zoom using different combinations of the two.
